I currently work as an Associate Director at MMOS Consulting Engineers in Cork. I undertake the civil/structural design and manage the design and detailing process for civil/structural developments. I previously worked at Horgan Lynch Consulting Engineers in Cork and O’Connor, Sutton, Cronin and RCA Structures in London as a Structural Engineer. I worked on various projects from domestic alterations to multi-storey residential developments. When I finished my Masters course I spent a year working on site with J. Murphy and Sons Ltd. This gave me valuable site experience before taking on a design role.I received a First Class Honours in the taught Masters in Structural Engineering programme in Cork Institute of Technology - level 9.I graduated from Cork Institute of Technology in 2009 with a First Class Honours Degree in Structural Engineering - level 8.I received a Distinction in the level 7, Civil Engineering Degree in Cork Institute of Technology in 2007.My areas of expertise include: - Mathematics; - Problem solving; - Structural analysis;- Design using all structural elements.
