I am an expert in international humanitarian law, human rights law, and international criminal law, focusing on the protection of persons with disabilities prior to, during, and after armed conflict, situations of risk, and humanitarian crises. I have extensive experience conducting high-level research and analysis having drafted various reports assessing the inclusiveness of the international peace and security agenda on the protection of persons with disabilities within situations of armed conflict, the consideration of persons with disabilities in the implementation of the civilian protection frameworks during military and peacekeeping operations, and the inclusion of persons with disabilities in peacebuilding and transitional justice.
