About Will Wagner

Will Wagner is a Project Manager at WEC Energy Group at WEC Energy Group. He possess expertise in microsoft office, engineering, energy, microsoft excel, powerpoint and 8 more skills. Colleagues describe him as "This letter of recommendation is for William (Will) Wagner and his numerous successes as an engineering intern for Hoosier Energy during the summer of 2012. Perhaps the strongest recommendation I can give Will is that if we had an appropriate job opening, I would be hiring this young man today. As the VP of Power Production I had the distinct pleasure of overseeing Will on a variety of engineering initiatives for the three months he interned at our organization. When Will joined us, he did not have any first-hand experience in power engineering, but he quickly exceeded my expectations by completing challenging projects at a decidedly professional level. As an electric producing power company that depends on a strong engineering contingent, Will’s work places him in our list of most outstanding interns we have had in the past 10 years. I have known Will on both a personal and professional level for almost seven years. I can’t say enough about the character of this young man and the passion he brings to every endeavor he takes on in life. I can also vouch for his education and the knowledge he brings with him from his education at Purdue. Will’s passion for understanding engineering principals and the ability to work as part of a highly functioning team are evident in everything he does. Specifically he helped worked in our outage management group at a 1000MW power plant in west central Indiana. He went above and beyond streamlining processes and using his resourcefulness to plan and schedule a portion of the work for a $250MM planned shutdown. Will is unique in that he not only has a great engineering sense and the technical know-how to contribute on a variety of projects, but he also learned quickly how to integrate these ideas within our larger organization and this made it easy for us to quickly trust him with high-level projects. Our team was impressed by his knowledge and ability to jump in and immediately help the team reach its summer goals, which reflected his growth as a promising engineer. Further, the plant employees and management team members who attended meetings with Will commented on his energy and analytical insight. Currently, Will has finishing his degree in engineering but still occasionally checks in with Hoosier Energy to follow-up on the progress of projects that he started during his time with our organization. I therefore strongly recommend Will to any hiring manager. As head of both operations and engineering departments, I have no doubt in my mind that Will’s diverse background has prepared him well for a long and prosperous career. His passion for engineering will make him as valuable in any organization as he was in our company."

Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Engineering, Energy, Microsoft Excel, and 9 others.
