As Safety and Quality Manager at LCS, my unique role involves supporting the people at LCS by giving them the tools and knowledge to keep them safe, help them be efficient, and help them be successful in their jobs. My activities fall into the following categories:Safety:- Building a strong safety culture- Tracking, conducting, and managing safety training – ensuring proper training for both groups and individuals- Managing and working with the LCS Safety Committee to build, maintain, and update the LCS Safety & Health program- Enforcing safety compliance in the field via toolbox talks, inspections, training, and proper application of rules and protocols- Building safety programs that lead to measurable improvement in everything from fleet safety to job safety- Manage PPE inventory, supply chains, and field distribution logistics- Ensure proper processes are in place for incident response and investigation/remediation- Getting everyone home safeQuality: - Facilitating proper project handoff during the preconstruction to construction transition- Ensure proper field documentation through monitoring and standardization- Build frameworks for better and more centralized documentation- Streamline project data flow, QC checklists, and project milestone management- Monitor change order processes to ensure proper billing and trackingTechnology/Marketing:- Maintaining proper security compliance across the network infrastructure for government contracts- Manage all IT assets, software licenses, and accounts- Manage the LCS website and marketing campaigns- Produce written, video, and image/photography content across all channels
