I am a game designer for Dubit. My duties include developing pitches, designing progression systems and economies, writing up GDDs, creating mood boards, helping to determine UI and UX requirements, creating maps and blocking out environments, providing feedback on development, balancing gameplay, and being the vision holder for projects.

When working for Field Events, Pod Pads, my role centred around the setting up and maintenance of multiple different types of festival accommodation, such as 2–8-person luxury bell tents and a variety of wooden huts and glamorous festival accommodation. My roles included lots of heavy lifting, coordinating construction alongside a large team, setting up lighting and electricity as well as decorating and tidying the accommodation before the customers arrived for the festival. During the event I helped check in attendees and provided standby maintenance, repairs and general help should anything go wrong. Whilst working with Field Events, Pod Pads, I was lucky enough to travel around Europe and work at festivals like Psi-Fi in Leeuwarden, Netherlands and Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Ireland.

Whilst working at The Three Horseshoes my job role involved opening and closing the pub, greeting and seating customers, taking and delivering orders, working behind the bar serving a variety of drinks, cleaning, washing up and prep-work. I was also often trusted with extra tasks outside of my usual work, this included jobs such as assembling benches, painting signs, demolishing old furniture, sorting old work equipment, etc.

At Malvern Book Cooperative my job role included opening and closing the shop, manning the till, customer service, making drinks and serving food, ordering new stock for both customers and back-stock, answering emails and phone calls, managing social media, cleaning, restocking shelves, dealing with queries from customers and publishers, visiting trade shows and attending meetings. While working at Malvern Book Cooperative I also took on the extra responsibility of designing and creating new in-store displays, window displays and signs and posters for events and offers. Additionally, I worked with local authors, giving them advice as to how to increase their profile and helping them to set up publicity events and signings. After store hours I was also often involved in manning public readings, poetry nights and game nights at the shop.
