Diverse Operations and Technical responsibilities including coordinating product portfolios, project management, work process analysis/improvement, implementing an online training application, coordinating development of work and project proposals, presenting AMS technology/AMS products to both technical and non-technical audiences, and building strong working relationships with customers, nuclear industry experts and the US Department of Energy.Currently consulting with AMS on project proposals and personnel recruiting.

I managed a group of 5 testers. Over 10 months we worked in agile, iterative, and waterfall development methodologies to relese 2 new products, 5 service packs to existing products, and 3 major releases. During that period I also spearheaded the development of automated testing, reducing software test costs by 25% and hardware testing costs by 60%, and worked with each tester on ways to develop both professionally and personally.

This position involved managing local and virtual teams engaged in SW and HW quality assurance through multiple simultaneous projects on a variety of platforms, maintaining effective communications with senior management. Additional responsibilities included improving work flow practices, coordinating requirements through multiple departments, personnel management & development, project planning/accounting, and developing departmental budgets/resource schedules.

Project Manager of 12-person team engaged in researching practicality of embedding artificial intelligence inside a vibration measuring & monitoring device, resulting in successfully introducing a new product to Emerson/CSI’s stable of vibration analysis products. Responsible for managing the full project life-cycle of a high-priority/high-visibility, 3-year, multi-million dollar project. Responsibilities also included group facilitation, change management, and maintaining relationships/communications with multiple internal and external groups, especially senior management stakeholders.

Successfully introduced three new products/product lines to the industrial maintenance market. Responsible for gathering customer requirements, defining product vision, creating product roadmaps, performing competitive analysis, developing marketing materials, and working with customers to evaluate products and establish improvement areas. Other responsibilities included personnel management & development, planning and managing departmental budgets, creating multiple presentations to Sales and directly to customers, maintaining effective working relationships between Marketing, Engineering, and Manufacturing, and communicating product/project status to Sr. Management.
