Data Entry Shift Supervisor
Current. Skills utilized by supervisors include the ability to communicate effectively; the ability to motivate and encourage; the ability to collect and analyze data; the ability to solve problems proactively; and the ability to mentor, train and improved employee performance. Responsible for supervising the Data Entry team. 15 DE II’s, 7 GC II’s and 1 GC III.. Responsible for monitoring of the teams’ tasks, ensuring that employees are engaged and active in accomplishing predetermined activities designed to meet performance standards. Key catalyst for creating a motivating environment free from distractions, harassment, or any other such activity that distracts team members from accomplishing their daily goals. Monitor, assist, review, correct and perform all support tasks for each employee to ensure correct time reporting, quality reporting, and production reporting are performed timely and accurately Familiar with all company policies and procedures, should be able to answer basic questions and assist team members as needed, and should be able to work with HR to ensure employee issues and concerns are resolved quickly. Communicating company policy, goals, changes, and otherwise general announcements to each team member using email, team meetings, or one on one conversations. Responsible for employee performance and must discover deficiencies and create individual plans for correcting employee deficiencies via performance improvement plans or by taking progressive disciplinary action to correct behavioral issues. Keep daily attendance logs and must recognize and escalate to HR employees that have abused attendance expectations. Effective communicators keeping both team members and management informed. Collect data, produce reports, and to analyze this information to make corrections and / or adjustment to employee actions, to improve processes, or to pro-actively pursue corrective actions.
