Responsible for assuring production quality and quantity targets are met at this five-million-tonne-per-year bauxite mining operation, which produces about one-third of the island’s total bauxite. Production crews under his supervision work 24 hours per day, seven days per week, to assure reliable production and continuous operation of the processing facilities. Supervised eight department managers with a total on site staff of 120 employees. Led the team in the construction and startup of the Standard Mine. Managed transition to dual mine site operations. Poured gold seven months after start of construction.
