Mr. Orr has over 35 years of project management, mine start-up and turnaround experience in precious, base metals, and industrial minerals industries. He is a mine engineer with solid knowledge in economic analysis, selecting, improving and implementing mining methods, equipment selection, and the overall managing of domestic and international mine projects. Mr. Orr has extensive experience in preparing designs, cost estimating, and schedules for mining operations; carrying out feasibility studies; ensuring safety and environmental standards are met and maintained; and minimizing the impact of mining on the environment.Mr. Orr has extensive development experience from early engineering, permitting through construction and into operation. He has significant permitting and environmental experience in a variety of locations including the western US, the maritime provinces of Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Mr. Orr offers the unique combination of hands-on operations management, engineering expertise, and project management capability that maximizes organizational effectiveness, ensures efficiency, and improves productivity. He has start-up experience as both an owner and as a contractor and understands the requirements of each.
