With 12 years in the environmental field, encompassing both the private and public sectors, I have gained a rich exposure to diverse organizational cultures (private and public). This experience includes boutique environmental consultancies in both Australia and Brazil, as well as public authorities.The companies I have worked for have all been busy, dealing with medium and large-scale projects, which have demanded a can-do attitude. I have acquired extensive experience in different roles within my field of which I highlight the following:- Preliminary Site Investigations (PSI) - Phase I, Detailed Site Investigations (DSI) - Phase II (ASTM E 1527:2013 and E1903/11), Due Diligence Audits and Divestitures, Legal Compliance Audits for national and international clients.- Waste Classifications, Asbestos Assessment (identification, supervision and clearances), Acid Sulfate Soils Assessment and Management, Pre and Pos occupational site Assessment.- Coordination of environmental licensing and work approvals processes, including the preparation of environmental studies, such as Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Mining Proposal, Mining Closure Plan, Environmental Feasibility Reports, and others;- Knowledge of best environmental management practices for civil construction, infrastructure projects, waste, chemical, logistical and industry manufacturing processes.- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of projects within budget limits.- Strong Project Management skills – Cost, time, quality control, and completion.- Risk Assessment/Management (AS/NZS 4360:2004), Work Health and Safety/OHS procedures and mitigation plans.In addition to these roles, I have developed strong data management skills and a high level of technical expertise. Therefore I also assist the sales team with the preparation of proposals and tenders.
