Duties and Responsibilities This position reports to the Training Manager. The position is responsible for facilitating, conducting, monitoring, and training for all personnel in relation to new employee, volunteer, and contractor orientation, mandatory training, safety training, CHD systems and professional development skills such as Microsoft, supervisory, effective communications, customer service, etc. in support of DOH mission and DOH·Duval strategic plan. Designs, develops and implements all training modules as assigned. Utilizes data tracking tools, coordinates training manual updates as required; collects and analyzes reporting data, and reviews program intervention for effectiveness. Develops and implement various methodologies for training delivery (i.e. didactic, online systems. web base applications, Liaison among technical experts; coordinates efforts, develops and establishes partnerships with all programs by participating in meetings; identifies training needs for additional technical or professional skills; coordinates training efforts and integrates all information. Serves as back-up facilitator to the training team in regards to professional skills training such as supervisory, effective communications, customer service, etc. Schedules training meeting rooms and satellite broadcasts; registers employees; sends confirmations, cancellations and reminder notifications. Compile and assemble training materials; and assists presenters with audio visual equipment and training preparation. Develops, coordinates and schedules wellness classes; attends wellness meetings; provides weekly and monthly reports as assigned. Performs travel in relations to the above duties and for professional development. Performs other work related duties required. This includes supporting and participating in the organization's disaster and emergency management functions and activities.
