• Investigate Security events using Splunk • Use RSA Netwitness and Palo Alto to collect Packet captures • Analyze PCAP’s using Wireshark to verify alert validity • Conduct endpoint analysis using CrowdStrike and CyberReason • Neutralize email-based threats using Proofpoint, TRAP, and TAP • Use Threat Grid to inspect potential malware inside of a sandbox • Scan for, and remove threats using McAfee EPO and CrowdStrike • Organize daily workload among Level 1 & 2 Analysts • Lead shift hand off in an active SOC environment • Take ownership of handed off tasks and escalations from Level 1

While at Multiplan my daily tasks included performing threat hunting using Qradar and Splunk. When alerts were generated by the SIEM's or Secureworks, I was responsible for the investigation and validation of the attack. Once the attack was validated I would assign it to the appropriate team with my recommendations for remediation. I assisted with using Nexpose to perform vulnerability assessments. In addition to the duties above I also compiled and maintained a list of assets for use with Splunk on-boarding. During my employment at Multiplan I became a certified Splunk User.

As an analyst I would receive live calls from clients, as well as validate incoming alerts via email. I did this by inspect PCAP files and examining the suspected code strings. As part of my position I would analyze network alerts from a large variety of devices, interpret raw firewall and IPS/IDS logs, and perform live packet captures of network streams.

While working at K2 I would take calls from approximately 50 Law Firms. Troubleshoot numerous types of custom software. I assisted end users with Windows, Office, Citrix, and many other programs includingsoftware break/fix, troubleshooting, and basic usage.I performed this by remotely control computer systems to assist user and/or effect repairs. In addition to trouble shooting , I also manage User Accounts using Active Directory and other proprietary software.

After working at Plumchoice for approximately one month is was promoted to the LFO group, and took calls from Field Technicians that were having difficulties. Over the phone I would walk technicians or customers through numerous problems and troubleshooting steps.

Worked for 10 years in the trades with 4 years as an apprentice and 2 years as a Superintendent for GFStructures. Work experience includes, interior and exterior carpentry, comercial and residential jobs, several high rises, and some finish carpentry as well.
