Tēnā kōrua, I am an award-winning stage and studio composer with over 20 years experience in creative collaboration and composition for film and television, museum installations, and advertising Mahi. As a freelancer, I managed all aspects of the business, including communication, promotion, contracting work, planning out projects, and delivering to tight deadlines.I recently finished working with producer Vince McMillan, composing music for the third season of the hit TVNZ show “Kura”. I lectured in post production sound for film and TV in 2022 as a senior lecturer at Creative Media Productions. I have volunteered teaching karate to tamariki with my teacher for the last five years and continue to do so while training myself.William RIcketts Music To Picture focuses on commercial production including scoring, recording, mixing, and mastering. Drawing on experience working with The Phoenix Foundation, Neil Finn, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Connan Mockasin and Lord Echo. Supporting Radiohead in Australasia, and Crowded House in Europe with Connan Mockasin. I have a Japanese Label Wonderful Noise Japan.
