Student Research Assistant : RED Lab at NC State College of Design-Worked directly with professor during independent study for classroom credit.-Developed curriculum for executive level design fundamentals course.-Conducted market research of prospective design courses strictly purposed for executives.-Assisted presentation of inaugural executive level course to EASTMAN Chemical.-Worked with EASTMAN executives and assisted them during a day long course teaching design fundamentals, idea generation, and rapid prototyping.-Developed takeaway material for executives to commemorate their experience within the course, as well as provide an overview of the day.

Attained a Bachelors of Industrial Design at NC State University and the College of Design.

Student Research Assistant : Industrial Design-The project was a collaboration between NC State College of Design and UNC Healthcare and The North Carolina Botanical Gardens located in Chapel Hill.-Liaison to client throughout project : scheduled meetings and deliverables for each meeting with client.-Directed making/ideation session with client on site at NC State.-Assisted professor in ideation and research during initial project phase.-Managed documentation for project as well as final presentation to clients and audience in Chapel Hill, NC.-Assisted Professor in prototype working drawings and fabrication.-Prototype Fabrication included : mold making, CNC milling, 3D model production, painting and surface finishing, thermoforming with a variety of plastics, testing and trial production within the shop.-Flew to Minneapolis, Minnesota to present project at North American Horticultural Therapy Association Conference.-Project was presented to a variety of professors, official personnel, and horticultural therapy advocates.

Teaching Assistant : Industrial Design-Assistant to Industrial Design instructor.-Lead ideation exercises and idea generation during initial part of session.-Lead instruction during industrial design drawing techniques.-Maintained supplies and instructional materials.-Assisted campers throughout the week with their personal projects in the industrial design session of camp.-Assisted instructor in final critique of campers projects.

Design Camp : College of Design at NC State UniversityCamp Coordinator : Lead Staff -Assisted camp director and program director.-Managed supply ordering and materials prior to camp start.-Attained first aid and CPR certification through NC State University.-Direct liaison to camp staff including assistant camp coordinator, instructors, teaching assistants, and camp counselors.-Lead and assisted counselor training sessions prior to camp start.-Direct liaison to parents of campers prior to and during camp. -Managed camper medication dispersal during camp.-Supervision of 12 counselors and 80 campers during week long camp at the College of Design.-Assisted in teaching during certain sessions throughout the camp.-Directed Camp setup and camp cleanup for two week-long sessions of Design Camp.
