As a Patient Care Associate I fullfill the needs of my paired physicain during in clinic visits. I scribe during patient vistits and send perscriptions and referals as needed. I also consult the physician on what to expect from each patient before the visit.

I serve as a Nursing Unit volunteer and assist with specific nursing floors or units by providing appropriate service to staff, patients, or guests. These services allow nursing staff more time for direct patient care and support the provision of quality, comprehensive care for the patients and guests.

I assist with weekly tasks that change depending on what food needs sorting and organizing.

I am a student leader for the club Operation Smile on the University of Oregons campus. I help with fundraising events each term for cleft lip surgeries as well as post operative care. I also help plan many on campus events during the school year.

During my time as an office assistant I worked by organizing the maintenance requests on Microsoft Excel, creating inner office communication and logging vendor packages. Confidentiality was very important while doing these tasks.

At this internship I worked under the University of Oregon Football Team's Director of Nutrition and helped with supplements, diet tracking and management. This was a very fast paced and professional athletic environment.

At this job I delivered patient meals to all 7 floors of the Level 1 Trauma hospital St Anthonys. I also assisted in other nutrition services on the floors of the hospital.
