I am an experienced professional with a passion for mathematical finance and three years of consulting experience in operational improvements, data visualizations, and business analytics to drive business-critical decision-making.In college, I had always had a love for puzzle-solving, so I pursued a degree in mathematics. Thinking of where to apply my skills, I wanted to explore combining my degree with finance, so I pursued a minor in business. I soon found a love for both areas, and I decided to take my education a step further by becoming the first student at IIT to pursue a master's degree in mathematical finance with my bachelor's simultaneously. During these programs, I not only grew in my knowledge of financial mathematics but was exposed to various technical skills for analysis using Excel, Python, R, and MATLAB.Upon graduating from college, I sought growing in my technical skills further. I felt the best way to do this was to jump into consulting at Deloitte where I was confident to expand my network, grow in my skills, and gain on-hand professional experience in various industries. At Deloitte, I gained expertise in Excel, SQL, Tableau with further training in Python.As a team member, received high remarks from managers and client leadership for my high-quality and insightful analytics, implemented operational transformations to grow business efficiency by 50%, and led various workstreams to ensure client deliverables met our firm's standards.
