Joined the US Navy directly out of high school and entered into the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program mid 2015. I then graduated from this program and was stationed on board a submarine in Kings Bay, GA, and then moved up to Portsmouth, VA. There, we completed an Engineering Refuel and Overhaul and were sent back down to Kings Bay, GA. I am grateful for the opportunities that were given to me while onboard the submarine and I am grateful for the people that I have met along the way.I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University, where I am expanding my knowledge and skills in electrical and electronics engineering. I have also completed multiple professional certifications in Python Programming and Data Structures, and Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies, demonstrating my commitment to continuous learning and development. My goal is to stay within the power distribution field as I transition from the US Navy, where I have gained valuable experience and insights from the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program and the submarine operations. With my recently acquired NERC Reliability Coordinator certification, I am looking to pursue a new, but familiar, career.
