At only 22, I’m a Biochemistry master’s degree student at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and have a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Évora. During my academic career I achieved a high final score of 16/20 and had the opportunity to work on a project in the nutrition area applied to biochemistry, during my curricular internship. This internship expanded my horizons to the biochemistry of nutrition and its effects on health, a subject for which I have great interest in combining with the neurodegenerative diseases theme, which was addressed with great affluence during my course. I consider myself an applied student, intelligent, a good co-worker, with leadership and readjustment to unexpected problems skills. What I hope to achieve with my academic experience is maturity for work, communication skills and reaching an expert level in important biochemical techniques.
