In this role, I designed fixed income multi-strategy hedge funds and effectively positioned them to top institutional investors in both the absolute return and fixed income space. Additionally, I spearheaded the formation of the fixed income strategy group, as well as set the vision and strategy for BGI and BlackRock’s future fixed income initiatives.Prior to BlackRock's acquisition of BGI in 2008, I was Head of US Fixed Income, where I oversaw the launch of the first fixed income iShares as well, as a market neutral hedge fund that still exists today.
