Took a refreshing hiatus at the closing of the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee to hike in Patagonia and project-manage a property clean-up amidst the green rolling hills of Gippsland in regional Victoria.

Designed the delivery strategy for the Commonwealth Games Cultural Program - Festival 2026 - an ambitious 12-day global arts event to be delivered concurrently across five regional Victorian cities. Led a complex stakeholder engagement program to support the festival design to honour First Peoples and celebrate creativity and diversity. Developed forecast planning for budget, contracting, operations and workforce.

Facilitated transition workshops as part of the transformation of the Covid-19 operation into an enduring public health function. Developed organisational structures, prepared operating models and led on the transfer of knowledge and functions for the Communications division, advising executives on sensitive issues and risks.

Managed a team of Operations Officers to maintain the department's emergency management people, process and system responsibilities while enacting a Machinery of Government change that split the Department of Health with the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). Remodelled emergency operations for DFFH and led a program of work to upgrade the relief payments system.
