I am a legal practitioner who helps companies avoid legal disasters by taking a proactive approach to managing corporate risk management concerns. In the past 15+ years, I have focused my legal experience on providing corporate risk assessment consulting. I am skilled at identifying and mitigating physical and organizational risks and trends while contributing to the best possible results for all concerned parties. Assisting clients to take control of their own future by providing sound legal and business advice inspires me each day. Part of my EHS activities include delivering the highest standards of quality and dependability in order to build a zero incident culture by developing, maintaining, implementing and monitoring compliance with all regulatory requirements including OSHA, DOT, and Workers’ Compensation. Conduct direct and internal investigations of any outstanding compliance concerns.Consulting with corporations to design, develop, implement, maintain, and manage corporate governance and compliance best practices to eliminate EHS high risk challenges is all in a day's work for me. I enjoy developing, coordinating, and implementing compliance coaching programs to help companies protect their business reputation. Other aspects of my work include developing best practices for managing workers’ compensation cases and completing all research, documentation, and follow up required in legal matters while also developing corrective policies, strategies and work tools. Disaster Recovery: Knowledgeable of strategies to help companies avoid catastrophic claims and avoid expensive (and preventable) violations. Subject matter expert on OSHA standards and DOT regulations. Successfully prosecuted and resolved multiple catastrophic injury and death claims with Fortune 500 companies in the energy, manufacturing, and construction industry.
