My first career is Research related work such as reading the books/articles, field work data collection ,analyzing data and presenting the findings etc.I also interested to study about socioeconomic development field and activity for a long term manner. Moreover, I am happy in writing and sharing about my experiences to others . Therefor, I am doing research , I will do the research work in the future because I do love research. Win Thein is a Project Manager responsible for managing Qualitative and Monitoring & Evaluation research in Myanmar. He has over 8 years of experiences working with the Myanmar Marketing Research & Development (MMRD) Company, one of the leading research agencies in Myanmar. Prior to this, he worked as a capacity builder and trainer for Save the Children International during the Nargis Cyclone Emergency Response 2008, and was an environmental awareness trainer for UNDP and Spectrum INGO. He has a proven track record of success in delivering the training module on Social Research Methods sponsored by DFID/Pyoe Pin to representatives of international and local NGOs. He is well versed in research works including delivering training, qualitative & quantitative research analyses, amongst others. He oversees Research Supervisors, Team Leaders and Interviewers, and is responsible for their professional development during the project period. He has worked in areas of water and sanitation(WASH), public health, education, livelihoods, food security, microfinance and disaster risk reduction(DRR) throughout Myanmar. He holds a master's and bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Work.
