I personally worked closely with all of our clients - especially our first-time home buyers. As a first-generation Asian American, I grew up living in a home with my grandparents and all my aunts and uncles. My immediate family of 4 all stayed in one room until my parents were fortunate enough to buy a home and move us out. The home-buying process was brutal for them, especially as immigrants AND as first-time home buyers. Thus, my goal was to make the home buying process and simple and easy as possible for others. My time at SJSU allowed me to actively engage with students and help the transition into their 4 years of higher education.
