Winnie oversees and manages funding allocation for the culture and sports portfolio, proactively identifying and initiating programmes which anticipate future community and social needs for building a culturally vibrant, inclusive and creative Hong Kong with everyone living better through arts and sports. Significant funding projects overseen by Winnie includes the Hong Kong Palace Museum, Tai Kwun, Centre for Heritage and Arts and JC Project MuSE, a high-quality and tiered school-based music and sports programme for underprivileged primary school students in Hong Kong. Winnie also drives and leads Charities community engagement initiatives, one of which is the Philanthropy for Better Cities Forum, convened by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The Forum seeks to explore and promote innovative approaches to tackling complex metropolitan social issues by bringing together partners from around the world for collaboration.
