On my Youtube channel, Winning with Winnie, I focus on supporting prospective international students with the steps needed to study in the United States while simultaneously providing a community of support for current International students. I share opportunities I have had, and challenges that I have had to overcome with being an International person in USA.My channel continues to empower so many and while the numbers are still growing. I am grateful for the small impact I am making. My father always asked me, as you keep rising, how are you taking others up on that ladder with you. This channel does exactly that--uplifting others as I rise.

Led programs that were educational about gender inequality, oversight of the internship program, managed all department social media platforms.

Implemented a new departmental software platform to better operationalize and streamline all internal functions, resulting in improved engagement and retention of 1500 participants, coached student leaders, created housing resource guide to help students find accommodation in the Vallejo, CA area.

In this role, I was challenged daily to incorporate student development theory learned in my graduate course work to guide my practice in creating student-centered environments that are safe, inclusive that helps foster student success while utilizing the departments residential curriculum.I enjoyed creating environments through residential engagement where students develop a sense of belonging. As a co- advisor of my Hall Council, I developed skills of mentoring, cultivating leadership skills, and managing group dynamics and conflict. Through intentional conversations and conduct meetings with students, I educated, explained, interpreted, and reinforced policies and procedures to encourage student responsibility.

I served as the international students Association president where i planned and organized several events to help integrate international students with domestic students.
