I am a multi skilled coffee professional based in Cape Town, South Africa. I have won three South African Barista Championships (2017, 2018 & 2020) and have competed at the World Barista Championships, finishing 41st and 32nd and 17th place respectively. I have also won the African Barista Championships in 2019.My experience ranges from working as a barista, barista trainer and wholesale relationship manager at some of the best cafes / roasters in the Southern Hemisphere. More recently I have been working independently on different projects such as compiling and implementing detailed training material for Hotel Groups, barista training and service consultation for independent cafes and community and development work using coffee as a means of skills development.I have received my Specialty Coffee Association AST license to teach accredited Barista Skills and Brewing courses which allows me to provide systematic and internationally recognized Barista Training. Using this and my diverse experience I aim to provide value and service solutions for those directly or indirectly involved in the coffee industry in South Africa or abroad.
