Nokia NCC ProjectLed a team comprised of six Engineers and served as the Scrum Master for that team. Actively participated in the team's daily activities, assisting them in resolving technical challenges, and facilitating discussions with Product Owners and architects. Operated within an Agile CI/CD environment, functioning as a part of a Scrum team, contributing to the Nokia Converged Charging (NCC) product. Evaluated software feature requirements, engaged in discussions with Product Owners (POs), and wrote high-level and low-level design documents for new features. Collaborated on and developed new features that extend the system to achieve requirements for specific clients like Vodafone, Verizon, and Sunrise. Implemented new Rest and Soap APIs. Designed and implemented a new Service to simulate 4G (Diameter) calls and 5G (Restful) calls. Optimized and enhanced the performance of specific features in Diameter calls by decreasing database hits, enhancing the call flow, and refactoring legacy code. Developed a feature for refactoring and update a python code responsible for generating and displaying Call Detail Record (CDR) and Event Detail Record (EDR) information to replace a third party tool used in the NCC Optimized data storage and retrieval techniques using Aerospike. Running and evaluating feature automated tests using Robot and Rammbock frameworks. Stress testing of Application and different features using Apache JMeter/PPSMeter to simulate load of 4G calls. Implemented new microservice to extend existing NCC features to be used in the Nokia Monetization Manager which acts as the End of Billing cycle activities Conducted sprint demonstrations of new features for clients and stakeholders. Debugged and traced Diameter calls at low protocol level to fix issues in system.
