The People Hub Cornwall CIOS offer free advice and support for anyone in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly who is looking for help getting into employment, job training or fully funded qualifications.I was, until the 2024 General Election, a Senior Parliamentary Assistant in the constituency office of Derek Thomas MP, and have previously been the Office and Campaign Manager for the St. Ives Constituency Conservative Association.I also have experience of leadership and management through my previous roles of being a Governor of Truro and Penwith College Corporation, but also as a Foundation Governor at St. Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Penzance. At Truro and Penwith, this included attending corporation board meetings to help decide on the college's direction. I sat on the Corporation’s Audit, and Employment and Business Policy Committees.I am also currently a Penzance Town Councillor for Penzance Promenade, and am pleased to serve as Deputy Town Mayor, having been elected in May 2024 for my fourth term.
