NextID offers a service which helps individuals own, manage and privately exchange identity data. We do this by transforming siloed records into personally-managed verifiable credentials. Our initial focus, the low-hanging fruit, is to build a business that helps academic institutions and professional training centres issue verifiable credentials using blockchain tech.

Iterate provides Internet video solutions and services, including live webcasts. The most popular solution the company represents today is Ensemble Video, a content management software which includes recording capabilities. Iterate has in the past represented many innovative video solutions including Panopto and Echo 360. During the dotcom period we built an Asian CDN distribution network using technology from Real Networks.I built this business from a minor startup to one of the leading providers of video solutions in South East Asia, with a $250k tender qualification in the Singapore government procurement system and a 6-figure annual turnover. I sought out leading-edge products, ensuring that Iterate was the first international reseller for major video solutions. As solutions architect I participated in many government tenders, sometimes as subcontractor writing the proposals for large system integrators. I also built a services business producing live webcasts, which has allowed Iterate to develop a reputation as a savvy user of digital media technologies.

An association of patients, caregivers and physicians, promoting better understanding of carcinoid and neuroendocrine cancer, a relatively rare disease which is poorly understood and is often misdiagnosed.I work closely with patients, especially those who are newly diagnosed. In this capacity I have authored a chapter on patient experiences for a compendium entitled Neuroendocrine Cancers, published by Singhealth Publishing. I have also given many talks on the subject of this disease at international conferences and seminars, and presented a poster session at ESMO. Since 2005, I have produced many video recordings of patient and physician conferences in USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. These recordings are highly commended and widely circulated as patient educational programmes.

A non-profit umbrella organisation for patient advocacy groups from across the Asia Pacific region representing rare diseases and rare cancers. APARDO provides a forum for sharing experiences and learning as well as an opportunity to amplify priority issues for rare disease patients (and their families).

Singapore is one of the world's most attractive jurisdictions for token sales because of light regulation and a strong network of support services for legal, tax, accounting and the like.I am lead consultant, author of several whitepapers and also function as a solutions architect for decentralised web3 applications. I secured our first project to develop the token and SAAS application for Diamundi's D1 coin (http://d1coin.io) valued at 6-figures.Our next big project is for Spxtrum Pte Ltd, which is building the SPXTROS music registry and digital licensing platform on blockchain (http://spxtrum.io). I am the blockchain tech and token sale operations advisor for this project. I have written the whitepaper and introduced various innovations to their tokenomics, including a rewards pool and a price stability mechanism using ERC721 tokens as fiat-denominated coupons.I have secured reseller relationships for various support services including smart contract development and audit. We have already completed 4 smart contract audits for our clients. I have also established a network of partners providing other support services to token sales, including: legal / tax /compliance, corporate secretarial, KYC vetting, marketing and community management.Ledgeris is helping high net worth individuals to "get into crypto" and we have a referral agreement with one of the largest BTC over-the-counter broker-dealer operation in the world.

D1 is an asset-backed token. Diamonds are vaulted in secure storage, inventoried on the public Ethereum blockchain and fully-backed D1 coins are issued. My role in the project has been to lead a development team to architect and deliver the complete solution, including the administration of inventory, dealer contracts etc.

I was the first investor, brought in 3 others to invest in KYC-Chain Ltd. Was employed for several months as Operations Director of KYC-Chain, secured B2B contracts, led due diligence responses for a PE investment, developed a B2C business strategy, and wrote the first whitepaper.

INCA is an international alliance of organisations providing support and promoting awareness of neuroendocrine cancer. I have been involved as a member delegate (representing the Carcinoid & Neuroendocrine Tumor Society of Singapore), and in various Board and advisory capacities since the alliance was established in 2009. During my 2-year term as Treasurer, I assisted in the successful application process for 501c3 tax exemption in the USA. I also managed the bidding and appointment process for accountants in USA, secured domain names, created the first website (under a USD 70k grant from Novartis) managed the web hosting and produced videos for several annual summit events.

Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) is Singapore’s premier infocomm industry trade association and brings together 400 corporate members including both MNCs and local companies. I was a Council Member for 8 years and in that capacity organised the Singapore Digital Media Festival, iX Conference and other thought-leadership events.

The DMfest event was designed to bridge the IT and media production communities. It combined a film festival, a thought-leadership conference and a business networking event.

Many of my first friends in social media were members of this community. Most have gone on to do very well in IT and Digital Media.

iX Conference has been for several years the pre-eminent IT event in the Singapore calendar. Served in various programme capacities over the years.

This startup was one of Asia's first Video Content Delivery Networks. The company deployed RealNetworks Media Servers in 5 Asian countries. Unfortunately, we were too early in the market cycle.

iMedia was owned by Manager Group (a Thailand-based publishing company) and National Computer Board of Singapore (NCB). The company's main product was a desktop publishing software known as infoShip (which got fabulous reviews), but the company also produced dozens of 'information products' in the form of eBooks on CD-ROM, including the magazine 'Virtual World', and eye-catching websites for Singtel, TDB, Ministry of Finance and many others. iMedia produced 3 out of the first 30 broadband applications when Singapore One was launched.

In California in the 80s, I owned a video post-production studio. Later, I developed hardware and software for the first generation of PCs - products which supported video logging and edit list management. Coming to Singapore in the late 80s to produce these products at a lower cost, I was able to establish a service business in multimedia, then electronic publishing.
