Bill Richards is a manager on the communications team for WKAR Public Media and the College of Communication Arts and Sciences (CAS) at Michigan State University. Richards coordinates and oversees the online presence for WKAR, including wkar.org, video.wkar.org, and related social media outlets. He also works with team members to develop coordinated promotion and marketing efforts across online services, print, radio and TV broadcasts for WKAR and CAS.

Graduate Assistantship - MSU Department of TelecommunicationOversaw the operation of a contract production unit operated by the MSU Department of Telecommunication as a hands-on teaching, training, and work experience for graduate and undergraduate students of media production. Held chief creative control over contracted audio and video projects. Duties included developing and implementing personnel training procedures, drafting project proposals and budgets, securing production contracts, and making project personnel assignments.
