Signal Processing Engineer
• Developed, upgraded, and deployed to production, algorithms for the measurement of clinical metrics such as apnea-hypopnea index (AHI), total sleep time, and SpO2 desaturation detection, from wearable sensors.• Helped analyze key algorithm performance using data from clinical studies, author technical documentation of said performance, and contribute to several successful FDA 510k submissions for Wesper’s wearable sleep tracking devices.• Audited FDA regulations to determine scope of testing required to conform with EMC/safety/transit product requirements. Led test efforts by authoring test plans, contracting with external test houses, and reviewing reports• Developed internal testing protocols for ensuring product quality with respect to internal product specifications and external regulatory requirements for safety and accuracy. Designed and build custom test equipment to execute tests.• Led R&D efforts for mechanical and algorithmic systems of Wesper’s next generation wearable sensor product.• Helped to develop novel user-facing metrics used to quantify sleep quality in collaboration with internal product team.
