Provides quality afloat training to U.S. Naval Surface Force Atlantic ships. Type Commander's agent for conducting pre-deployment training and evaluating crew proficiency in all warfare areas and required shipboard competencies. Conducts Planned Maintenance Systems data analysis on-site and remotely maintaining top maintenance readiness and asset availability.

Manages maintenance and maintenance support to achieve maximum equipment operational readiness. The ship's 3-M System is the nucleus for managing maintenance aboard all ships and applicable shore station equipment. This system provides all maintenance and material managers with a process for planning, acquiring, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating the manpower and material resources used to support maintenance. As a management tool, the Ships' 3-M System provides efficient and uniform methods of conducting and recording preventive, alterative and corrective maintenance as well as allowing easy access to collected data.

Performs the duties as the Marketing and Advertising Officer (MAO) in the areas of local and national advertising and administration of the LPT as a Department Head. Provides new hire government Advertising Coordinator (ADCO) employees the skills necessary to effectively plan, coordinate, budget and analyze local advertising efforts, including conversion of leads to contracts. Developed skillset in the areas of LPT organization, Local and National advertising leads tracking and analysis using the Navy Advertising Leads Tracking System (NALTS), Advertising Planning, Effectiveness Measurements, as well as the overall administration of the department. Responsible for the efficient operation of the Navy Talent Acquisition Group E-Talent team in generating, prospecting, engaging and contracting all electronic and virtual leads.

Supervisor responsible for the efficient operation of their assigned division within the department and are responsible , in general, to act as assistants to Division Officers. The Division Chief is a major link in the chain of command. At the working level, the Division Chief carries out command policies and personally sees that division tasks and maintenance are completed in a timely manner with personnel at peak performance.

Responsible for leading recruiting team in identifying and screening/evaluating qualified candidates to become sailors both enlisted and officer in the US Navy. Responsibilities include visits to schools, conducting presentations, home visits, providing Navy training to recruits, provide counseling and guidance to assist recruits in career objectives, and assist families during recruits transition as well as training new recruiters in Professional Selling Skills.

Responsible for the effective operation of the maintenance systems in a work center. The responsibility can not be delegated to subordinate maintenance personnel. The work center supervisor is responsible for the following: Scheduling and supervising accomplishment of weekly work center maintenance task. Ensuring preventive maintenance status is shown correctly on work center schedules. Informing the Division Officer or group supervisor of maintenance actions, equipment status and material deficiencies within the work center.
