As a District Merchandise Planner for Macy’s, led the pilot MyMacy’s initiative by collaborating with store managers, merchants and central buyers to build individual store assortment based on customer demographics and preferences. Responsibilities include driving sales through improving gross margin and turn; developing sales and receipt plans; communicating both sales and merchandise trends to merchants and sales leaders. Territory includes 11 stores in Michigan with annual volume of $190 million.

Midwest

Promoted to Regional Vice President responsible for financial and operational accountability of 60 stores and 6 District Sales Managers in the Midwest Region. Managed revenue goals and service standard achievements, mid-level management development, and the execution of community outreach. Developed, implemented and facilitated multi-store and executive management training programs. Oversaw payroll and expense budgets to maximize sales and profit margins. Coordinated and organized the acquisition and integration of three regional companies.

Michigan

Performed all marketing and managerial tasks of a major men’s formal wear corporation including employee relations, design and supervision of new retail stores, creation and implementation of company wide training program, recruiting and hiring, coordination of regional trade shows, modification and execution of internal software programs, representation of organization on a national level.

Midwest

While performing District Manager responsibilities for Sempliner’s Formalwear also designed and marketed point of sale software on a national level for Sempliner’s Formalwear (concurrent with role as district sales manager). Created software training manual and implemented the program in six regional formal wear companies located in throughout the Unites States. Responsible for providing support to over 100 stores with training, updates and revisions.

Kentucky

Recruited to become the Director of Sales and Operations responsible for the financial and operational accountability of 17 stores and over 200 wholesale accounts throughout 5 states. Worked directly with the P & L statements and developed initiatives to increase revenue and reduce expenses. Developed and implemented marketing programs for both retail and wholesale accounts.
