I am the owner and CFO of 4 Wheel Consulting DMCC, a Management Consultancy Company specialised on the automotive industry. Main customers are global automobile manufactures and their distribution partners throughout Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.My projects cover all major aspects of the automotive distribution business with the target to improve sustainable growth, profitability and returns. I have executed high profile projects in areas like cost reduction, efficiency and process improvement and business expansion as well as market research and strategic development. The brands worked with include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Fiat Chrysler Automotive, Nissan, Toyota/Lexus and Volvo Cars.A selection of major projects accomplished are:• Restructuring of a General Distributor in Oman and heading the change management process for Finance functions as CFO in charge• Acting as interim CFO for a General Distributor in Kuwait• Evaluation and improvement of automotive wholesalers and retailers in South-East-Asia and Middle-East for distribution and finance functions• Development of investment and expansion alternatives for General Distributors in Middle-East• Project planning and project management for market studies on retail appearance and dealer performance• Application, set-up support and business development for companies in the Middle-East during their entry phase into the automotive market for various brands

Since 2011, some of the consulting projects have been executed in the name of DSM-Success Pte Ltd from Singapore in my function as their Senior Director.

I was heading the Finance function of the whole group as Finance Director (CFO) as part of the management team covering accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and financial reporting. I developed a strong Finance team and implemented structured Finance processes and internal controls throughout the whole group of the mid-size logistic company as required for the vast expansion.In this role I was driving the expansion of the subsidiary network of the Singapore-based company and founded 5 new subsidiaries under my team management which contributed to the strong revenue and profit growths.I consulted the owners on a constant basis on all financial matters and the development of the business strategy for the company. One of my major achievements was the set-up of a factoring scheme with an international bank which led to a substantial reduction of receivables and additional cash available for the business expansion.

I led several M&A projects in Asia and Europe in order to acquire or sell companies. In the transactions I executed and headed various due diligence projects and coordinated cross-functional internal teams and external consultants. For new Joint Ventures I developed business plans and led the internal JV team in negotiations with the potential partner.I was involved in the strategic planning for new markets and products which included confidential negotiations with investment banks or other external advisors. My responsibility for potential target companies was also full valuation projects applying multiple valuation methods.My key projects successfully managed included a high value sale-and-lease-back transaction of dealer real estate in Japan and several acquisitions of dealers in Germany.
