Software Quality Assurance Engineer
- Flashed User Trial (UT) Firm wares on HTC devices and installed Boot ROMs and UT tools.- Tested and used devices under test on a daily basis with an end-user perspective.- Raised errors, defects, and issues through User Trial Feedback Tool with logs and imported them into an internal web-based system.- Observed and reproduced the issues reported by users in order to confirm and verify the frequency and behaviors of them.- Developed and documented test cases, plans, and procedures and shared with team.- Consolidated the issues found in new Software via FOTA update from internal users and followed up with REM team.- Worked and communicated with R&D team to analyze issues, to update the status of them, and to take further actions.- Identified and highlighted issues based on collected numerical data and analysis from other QA Engineers and developers.- Tracked issue tickets under assigned index until they were fully resolved and closed.- Reported daily and weekly issue highlight lists in separate excel sheets across all the SKUs under test.- Managed servers and devices and set them up for Automation Test System in preparation for testing.
