I was born and raised in Northwest Detroit. I've lived in southeast Michigan my entire life. Growing up I designed sports cars, basketball shoes, bicycles, video games and logos all before the age of 12. I still have the drawings to prove it. Graphic design was a passion of mine even before I knew what it was.While still in school learning about graphic design, I convinced my boss at the time to let me be the in-house graphic designer for the company I worked for at the time, Ramchargers, an aftermarket automotive parts retailer. Jumping right into the career of my choice, I eventually redesigned their logo, website, and created many other marketing materials. During this time, I also began freelancing for a national automotive magazine, Speed Style & Sound. I designed their first 18 issues and also helped to launch their spin-off motorcycle magazine, 2Wheel Tuner. After Ramchargers, I accepted a position with Marketshare Inc. as a senior designer producing print advertisements and other materials for their direct marketing magazine that was distributed to five different markets across the U.S. I left Marketshare to join Vanguard USA, Inc., a manufacturer of photography and outdoor accessories. At Vanguard I helped to establish corporate identity standards working with three other branches in Japan, France and China. There I gained new skills including trade show display graphics, packaging, digital ads, photography and video production.After many years working in the corporate world, I decided to take my freelancing full time for awhile to experience a variety of creative projects. I specialize in graphic design, illustration, branding and photography. Currently, I still freelance but hold a full time position at Trinity Health as a designer at the corporate headquarters in Livonia, MI.Besides my years of experience working professionally as a graphic designer, I have a lifetime of hyper imagination experience.
