Wooseok Kim is an architectural designer with a Master of Science in Design, Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania. Passionate about exploring the intersections of architecture, philosophy, computational design, he is dedicated to creating sustainable and impactful solutions. Currently, he is working as a Graduate Professional at Ratio SMDP in Chicago, a design studio that pursues innovation based in contemporary architecture. Wooseok has gained recognition in several national and international competitions and exhibitions for his innovative and creative approaches. His notable achievements include winning the Silver Prize in the National Space Design Competition, the Excellence Prize in the Student Architectural Exhibition, and the Grand Prize in the 100th Anniversary of Korea’s Independence Movement Competition. These accolades reflect his distinctive and experimental approach to design.Beyond his architectural practice, Wooseok also serves as a visualizing consultant and lecturer. His visualizations are known for their clear and intuitive designs, incorporating an architectural touch that uses concise and precise visual language to enhance communication.
