KAANY focuses on two goals:
First, it serves as a new platform for the Korean architect community in New York to better engage the culture and profession of architecture. It provides diverse public activities to rethink the role of Korean American architects and companies in New York and also shares architectural knowledge and professional experience.
Second, it acts as a representative group of Korean American architects of New York/Metro Area and develops a relationship with various groups including academia, companies, media and government entities. It also shares opportunities for talented Korean students and young professionals, offering advice and mentorship program. It acts as a voice of Korean American architects to serve the community and create a unique professional environment.
