BETS is a specialized co-op program for selected first-year engineers. As an entrepreneur in training, I completed an intense 40+ hour entrepreneur bootcamp, followed by 15 weeks of micro-placements with local start-ups. I assisted the start-ups with objectives-driven projects to help them reach critical business milestones.

Uprise is a startup that strives to give stories the exposure they deserve. We are a SaaS platform based out of Kitchener-Waterloo that revolutionizes the way that content is distributed throughout social media. Uprise enables and encourages us to express far more effective and authentic stories which we can help others create via our production team.I worked with Uprise for 5 weeks as a part of University of Waterloo's BETS program.
