Technical lead in a DC migration project to configure a Cisco Flexpod for multi tenancy and to migrate a customers virtual estate. An existing production Flexpod needed to be reconfigured to facilitate multiple customers without any service impact to the existing production infrastructure.

My role at Interserve focused heavily on the infrastructure refresh project which was established to amalgamate two separate parts of the business into one combined infrastructure. In Morris Homes I worked as an IT Support engineer in a very small team of 2 people overseeing the entire Morris Homes business. This role was a contrast from the Enterprise level of the NEC and was the first role where I was completely independent. This means that I was responsible for the entire purchase process of IT equipment, the entire support for 50% of the offices around the UK including support for internal systems such as Telephony/DR/Custom in house software. In my time at The NEC I started as a systems engineer in the events team deploying internet/telephony services to customers. From there I progressed into 1st line corporate IT support, then through 2nd line up to 3rd line support.
