With the previous gained experience in IT introduced report server to have a uniform measurement of management info / KPI’s and production steering between the two repair shops in the USA

Responsible for the integration of Fokker Aerotron into the Stork company after acquisition. Standardized processes and procedures, shared best practices.

From May 2011 also responsible for the operations of Fokker Airinc aligned processes and working methods till the start of the merger in Aug 2011, operational responsible during the whole period of the merger and dismantling of the Fairhope location

Responsible for the correct implementation of the repair module of a new business application, an ERP system named Pentagon 2000 SQL. This new ERP system replaced 4 legacy systems over 4 locations (three in the Netherlands and one in the USA), total users of 350. Managed 5 team members on different locations. Performed the complete ‘big-bang’ conversion of the four legacy systems to the new ERP system. Gained knowledge about programming, IT infrastructure, databases. And did all the functional maintenance on the database and software during the implementation.After implementation continuing monitoring for bugs or incorrect procedures in the system. Was the ‘last resort’ to correct the system. Wrote numerous queries to detect problems or correct interim software problems. Changed procedures and processes were necessary.

Managed approx. 20 avionics technicians. Responsible for an efficient production, conform strict quality norms, realizing of budgets and shorting turn times. Development/implementation of procedures for improvement on processes, working methods and quality. Developing proposals for continuing lowering costs (labor and parts) on work orders.One of the ‘fathers’ of the design of the Avionics/Instrument shop as it stands today in the Schiphol plant. Gained experienced in design of shop floors including clean rooms and ESD protection.

Responsible for production engineering activities. Ensuring that the around 20 technicians had the latest repair documentation available. Incase necessary wrote our own repair manuals. Had direct contact with Vendors, Customers and internal departments regarding technical issues of a component or range of components. Developed own test equipment and also specified test equipment needed to perform the job. Assist Sales and Product Management technically on products and wrote business plans. Developed and wrote internal procedures for the Avionics shop specific but also for the Schiphol plant in general.

Repair and overhaul of all kinds of avionics equipment. Started as junior technician repairing simple avionics, during the years moved up to senior and master technician repair, modify and overhaul of avionics parts from radio frequency equipment till all kinds of digital equipment like autopilot computers.
