I would describe myself as curious, creative and persistent. Once I set my mind to something, I'll figure out a way to realize it.After graduating magna cum laude in physics, I embarked on my career as a cyber security consultant. It didn't take long for me to discover my true enthusiasm as a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst, blending analytical thinking processes with puzzle-solving, akin to a detective. What gives me the most satisfaction is delving into complex issues and resolving them. I relish every challenge that comes my way.Presently, I serve as a level 2 SOC analyst, where I leverage my passion for problem-solving and deep-dive investigation. My work extends beyond analyzing security events to include developing detection rules and optimizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems. In addition, I also work on SOAR systems to relieve the stress of the SOC where it shouldn't be.Outside of work hours, you'll often find me immersed in my self-made homelab, analyzing my own network data. I enjoy the continual learning process and staying ahead of emerging cyber threats.
