CurrentProvide strategic leadership of daily operations for Southern Arizona region, consisting of 16 retail locations with $32M in annual sales volume, as well as transportation, salvage and new goods divisions at the corporate office. Hold direct accountability for coordinating and executing all daily functions, including sales and marketing, customer service, merchandising and strategic planning with complete P&L management responsibilities. Develop and lead a team of 2 district managers, 16 store managers and 400 associate level employees across the retail workforce, as well as an additional staff of 36 at the corporate office. Drove total YOY revenue growth of 18% from 2016 to 2017; currently at 8% YTD over forecasted goal for 2018. Restructured in-store staffing model, increasing workforce by 2% to drive production improvements. Led the purchase of 2 store locations instead of leasing the properties, yielding $1.5M annual cost savings. Expanded program for employing developmentally challenged adults, onboarding a higher volume of new team members, which resulted in an increase in store production while simultaneously supporting community goals. Implemented a new credit card processing program, partnering with IT team to rollout system for processing chip card reading; new system decreased chargebacks by 5% by enhancing fraud protection process. Built strong partnerships with new goods suppliers, negotiating larger discounts to maximize profit. Restructured the salvaged item process, introducing a pay-per-pound operation at the outlet stores to increase annual sales revenue; resulted in a 50% reduction of salvaged product sent to landfill. Introduced a new logistics program and management position within the Transportation department to track product movement and streamline the replenishment process, leading to a reduction of product loss.
