I have been working for the past fourteen years in youth development and programming in different capacities. I am currently a Senior Program Coordinator managing two elementary school sites, where I develop curriculum based in STEM and SEL. I also work on providing resources to families and their students and monitoring the relationship between mentees and mentors. I am also Co-Chair of our JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Committee, focusing on making our organization truly inclusive and advocating for the marginalized.In addition to youth programming, I have also been a music teacher, and am currently a contributing writer to one of Seattle's top-10 most circulated papers, where I analyze and review media with a lens on identity and cultural context. I strongly value my communication skills as a writer. I consider myself to be adaptable and perceptive, and passionate about equity. I have also appeared as a panelist about intersectionality and accessibility at conventions.I have certifications and/or experience in DEI, Commercial Sex Trafficking, Youth Programming Quality Assessment, and Salesforce.
