In this role, I use my experience of business psychology and instructional design to help our clients solve their people challenges. Working alongside the Mind Gym Client Team, I conduct robust research and scoping within businesses to understand what's really happening 'on the ground'. I apply these insights to programmatic design, so we can create engaging and impactful learning interventions, targeted to the right audiences. I keep up-to-date with business psychology research to ensure our solutions are based on the latest thinking in the field. My topics of interest include diversity and inclusion, performance management, management development, customer service, and personal resilience.

Tekuchi is a small design agency which produces high quality CGI visualisations and touchscreen software applications for property developers.My role is to ensure the smooth running of the company, including all aspects of accounting and finance, liaising with clients and suppliers, managing the office space and facilities, coordinating the director's diary and overseas travel, as well as implementing HR systems and policies, including recruiting new members, to support the team as the business grows. I am undertaking this role on a part-time basis, alongside my Masters degree in Organisational Psychology.

The Association of Business Psychologists hosts a conference every year. In 2012 I was selected to be a student coordinator for the conference. This role involved attending planning meetings, and providing general hands-on support at the event, as well as coordinating a group of six student volunteers.

As an independent not-for-profit organisation, Futurelab conducted research and development projects for a range of clients in the education technology sector, including Microsoft, HP, Cisco and Becta. As a researcher, I conducted desk and field research on projects which sought to capture best practice in the use of technology within education, and disseminate findings to the wider education community. Adopting an academic approach to research and a practical approach to implementation, I provided high-quality resources and training materials for educational practitioners on a national scale. Specifically, I worked on projects which:- studied the introduction of innovative policies (such as new technology or creative curriculum design) into school settings, working with senior leaders to identify successful change management strategies, and to use these examples to produce guidance for other school leaders preparing for similar changes;- evaluated implementations of new government policies around the use of digital technology in education, to examine their impact on teaching, learning, overall school success, and ROI;- explored the utility of technology in formative and summative assessment practices in school settings, including conducting interviews with experts in industry and academia and holding research seminars, culminating in the production of hypothetical case study scenarios of best practice which were then disseminated amongst the practitioner community;- recruited and trained 10 groups of young people aged 13-19 from around the UK who were to assist in the design and marketing of a new online resource. I designed and ran three training days with these groups, which focused on skills of research, design and marketing.
