Improving the quality of life for people affected by Parkinson's.gaitQ is developing a wearable, smart medical device aimed at restoring mobility in people with Parkinson’s. Our system helps people with Parkinson’s overcome gait-freezing episodes and maintain their levels of activity for longer.

Tristan spun out Metaboards from the University of Oxford in 2016 and took the company to its Series A in December 2017. Reporting to the board, he led all day-to-day operations.Metaboards is a metamaterials start-up, pioneering the science of creating materials in certain shapes, sizes or orientations to give it unique properties that would not be found in nature – in this case the ability to wirelessly charge devices.The company is creating new and highly flexible ways to embed wireless charging into surfaces so that multiple items can be charged simultaneously without the need for close alignment or multiple power supplies, transforming the functionality of wireless charging.
