Assisted in developing a new visual product identity via color materials and finishes (CMF). Conducted an ergonomic research study to evaluate gamer hands. Insights led to the development of the current live hinge paddle system as well as improved thumbstick shapes.Vantage + Vantage 2 (PlayStation 4 Gaming Controller):Assisted the launch of SCUF’s first controller at retail. This included developing a new marketing identity, packaging designs and retail displays to be compliant with PlayStation guidelines. Collaborated with agencies to explore the unboxing experience. Oversaw press check for final designs in China and in the U.S.. Established standardized digital imagery through custom HDRIs and a digital materials library within Keyshot. Responsibilities included trend forecasting, form exploration, product rendering, user testing, cad modeling, logo design, and collaborating with packaging and engineering staff in our USA and China offices. During this process, our design team was responsible for taking products from the idea stage to prototyping, after which we collaborated with engineers to refine the final design for production. Alongside our other industrial designer, I also assisted the larger creative team as needed for packaging and presentation design. Waste to Product: Sustainable Solutions to Fashion Manufacturing WasteThrough the SCAD Collaborative Learning Center, I collaborated with students from SCAD Fashion, Service and Sustainability Design departments to efficiently re-using textile waste. Our class presented research about competitors' sustainability programs, communicated directly with design leads at Reebok, and developed product concepts using manufacturing waste from Reebok factories.
