For over a decade, I have been building a unique outlook and diverse set of skills to advance myself in the field of information technology, focusing on the relationship between the end user and the systems with which they interact on a daily basis. I aim not just to make working easier for my clients and coworkers, but more understandable as well. My background in theatre gave me the chance to develop a sense of improvisation and personability - two strengths I can lean on to communicate with people at every level of technological aptitude, help me grow interdepartmental relationships, and form strong connections based on trust, professionalism, and mutual respect. In my career, I have proven competent and reliable enough to advance my position within the workplace several times. I've taken administrative control over employee engagement platforms, managed communication technologies, and made a name for myself, my team, and my department. My office wall has displayed my Bachelor's degree, CCNA and MTA certifications, and most proudly the collection of thank-you letters I've received over the years. I take pride and delight in helping people to troubleshoot and resolve problems, and in teaching not only what to do, but how and why to do it.Away from work, I spend my time with mentally and creatively engaging hobbies. Composing and playing music, writing interactive stories with friends, and regularly seeking new games and puzzles to challenge my problem solving and strategic thinking. The joy and relaxation these passions bring me can't be overstated, but they also keep me in a regular state of building on successful patterns while remaining adaptable to changing situations - a state I can take advantage of in my day-to-day work as well!
