I am actively seeking a full-time position as a Data Analyst, Data Specialist, or Data Coordinator. I graduated in December 2023, double majoring in Data Science and Education Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have a passion for applying data science in the field of education, believing it helps improve educational outcomes and access for diverse learners.As a data specialist at the Universities of Wisconsin System Administration, I apply my data science skills to manage student and curricular data submissions from 13 UW System institutions. I ensure compliance with guidelines while maintaining data integrity by running edit routines and using queries to identify and resolve data issues. An automation tool using Selenium was pioneered to update data, significantly reducing manual processing time and securing unprecedented access privileges for the role. I also monitor, diagnose, and resolve data processing issues in collaboration with three external/internal offices and assist with annual updates and revisions to system documentation, addressing data definitions and procedural questions.As a policy analyst intern, I analyzed and visualized enrollment data across 13 campuses. I also conducted market research on relevant policy projects and communicated insights to stakeholders through written analysis, presentations, and visualizations. Additionally, I gained hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, and web development through AI Camp, where I coached students in building and deploying AI web products.Moving on to the next chapter of my journey, I am eager to learn and explore new opportunities in the field of data science and education.
