Woei Yuan is currently Director of Technology Cluster at MP International, a full-service market engagement, activation and events management company. His current portfolio of technology events include SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology) and AIMX.Prior to his current role, Woei Yuan was Deputy Director at the SWITCH Programme Office, Enterprise Singapore. He oversaw the planning, partnerships-building and delivery of SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology), the largest startup & innovation festival in Southeast Asia.Over 5 editions of SWITCH, Woei Yuan had grown the platform to be THE startup & innovation festival in Southeast Asia, with over 15,000 attendees from the global startup, investor, research and tech communities in its 2023 flagship edition.Woei Yuan began his professional career as the co-founder and co-owner of Aging Youth, one of Singapore's leading independent music labels in the early 2000s. He oversaw artiste management, events organisation and records distribution.Over the course of his career, Woei Yuan had also led corporate & marketing communications teams in both private and public organisations, including ST Kinetics and JTC.Woei Yuan is an amateur but very passionate parent with two wonderful children. He’s trying to find time to learn the double bass and build radio-controlled buggies.
