As the Head Coach, I oversee the three top teams, although my main focus is leading the Men’s 1st team, who compete in two championships: the BUCS Football Premier South league, one of the top levels of university football in the UK; and also, the North-East Division of the Devon Football League;Some areas I concentrate on with the players are:• teaching relevant skills, tactics and techniques;• monitoring and enhancing performance by providing tuition, encouragement and constructive feedback;• analysing their performances, identifying strengths and weaknesses of the players;• advising about health and lifestyle issues;• developing training programmes;The University of Exeter takes great pride in developing well-rounded student athletes, with an emphasis on the student-athlete experience. This role as Head Coach that comes after two years as manager of the under 18 team, provides a mixture of accountabilities within the club such as:- Working in partnership with the managers of both senior teams on planning training sessions more effective and efficient in order to delivery high quality coaching sessions;- Supporting the development of the coaches of the club in grass-roots football, with special attention on the under 18's with on the field coaching expertise both before and after sessions and matches;

Spanish taught to all abilities in Key Stages 2, 3 and 4;Departmental responsibility for implementing Active Learn in Key Stages 3 and 4;Designing and implementation of a new set of Schemes of Work (Medium and Long Term), including KS2 into KS3 SoW in order to allow pupils to have a smooth and flowing transition from Primary to Secondary School, as well as the new Schemes Work for the new GCSE specification (2016);Designing and provision of an engaging curriculum – Key Stage 2 and Edexcel in Key Stages 3 and 4;Creating lesson plans ensuring the effective use of ICT in the classroom and at home, including Powerpoint presentations, Active Learn and the use of apps, such as Quizlet, Kahoot and Mentimeter; Preparing classroom activities and displays;Organising teaching materials;Evaluating pupil’s performance;Maintaining classroom records;Report writing;Meeting with parents, teachers and other professionals;Organisation and participation on School events;

Over the last 14 years, selected school football players have travelled to different parts of England, including Liverpool Academy, Manchester City Academy, Bolton Academy, and also to Spain and Andorra, to take part in several international football camps and football tournaments such as Mediterranean International Cup, Nike Camp and ITE Football Tournament.During all these years, Bramdean School has also achieved a fine games record and has had pupils who have represented the country, county and district at Football, Rugby, Cricket, Athletics and Swimming.

The FA Club Mentoring Programme offers on the ground support to Coaches within FA Charter Standard Clubs; providing a process whereby a coach is actively engaged in being guided towards acquiring new knowledge, feedback, ideas or advice by a person who has been selected by the Coach to help meet their identified coach development needs. The aim is to support a coaching workforce in their own environment, both in training and match-day situations.Main roles:To support the development of coaches in Grassroots football;To support the delivery of The FA Vision, National Game Strategy (Better players & Workforce enabler);To support the delivery of the FA Coaching Strategy;To promote the FA Future Game philosophy;

I have been working with EFC Denmark first, and now EFC International, since 2011. My roles included programming and planning all the sessions - each session is based on a different aspect of the game in order to develop a complete player technically as well as tactically; and delivering those practices which are divided into ten sessions of two hours each, twice a day, morning and afternoon.The technical football concepts worked during the week are passing and control, running with the ball, dribbling, shooting and goalkeeping, and finally systems of play. All these concepts are coached combined with tactical awareness using possession games with positioning in order to create a complete player ready for the game.

During four seasons, I worked for the FCB Escola as a Football Coach.My main duties were: planning and delivering football sessions to football players aged 7 to 18 in Spain and in many other different parts of the world.

Supply teacher during two academic years providing short/medium term cover as required as well as effective teaching and learning to children and young people. During these two years I had a fantastic opportunity to get involved with all sorts of different levels of pupils and centres of the English public system of education, from Grammar schools to PRUs (Pupil Referral Units) and also EBD schools (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties).
